"I popped in one day with my 5 year old to inquire about children's tap lessons. Ré was so warm and friendly that we decided to take a complimentary class. I'm thrilled with the whole experience! My child has been attending for a couple of months now and eagerly looks forward to each week's class. The teacher's Joe and Ré are wonderful: experienced, kind, encouraging, patient, and FUN! I recommend AED whole-heartedly. I intend to enroll my daughter in ballet classes as soon as she's ready." -C C.
"I just want to praise the American Embassy of Dance for its amazing flamenco teachers (and performers), Edwin Aparicio and Anna Menendez. We in DC are so privileged to have the quality of instruction that AED offers. The owners are extraordinarily positive, welcoming, and driven by a true love of dance. They strive to create a sense of community among students of all the dance forms represented at the school. Their warmth and enthusiasm permeate the whole place, and this, combined with top-notch professional dance instruction, makes AED a wonderful place to learn." -Emily A.
"I love this place! My daughter attends tap class on Saturday with Joseph Webb. She enjoys it and my husband and I are really pleased with the theory as well as the practical instruction. Mr. Webb has traveled the world perfecting his craft which is definitely a plus for instruction. I also think the staff are doing a great job by enhancing a great atmosphere for learning. I can see us being here as long as the doors are open :)" -Adrianne R.
"I take dance classes and workshops at the American Embassy of Dance, and I've never been at a studio with such a positive and energetic vibe. I come to class and I leave happier. The staff are very nice, most of them dancers themselves, and the owner, you can tell, lives for dance. It's a warm, atmosphere, like hanging out in your own living room. The studios are spacious with newly re-done floors, and there are classes in all dance forms. People of all ages come to these classes, and everyone seems to have a good rapport with each other. This seems to be the product of a studio whose life source is not money but the loce of dance and freedom of expression." -Liz S.
